Welcome aboard! The GRTC On the Go app offers a new transportation solution in the Richmond region, providing on-demand rides for LINK microtransit and CARE paratransit services. It allows users to easily book door-to-door transportation within their community.

By simply using the app, users can schedule on-demand microtransit or paratransit rides, where our technology efficiently pairs them with others traveling in the same direction.

How it works:

1. Download the GRTC On the Go app.
2. Book a ride using your smartphone.
3. Be picked up at your designated location.
4. Receive notification when your vehicle is en route.
5. Share the ride with other passengers heading towards your destination.

Overview:

• Connected: LINK Microtransit connects users to community zones and GRTC fixed routes. CARE paratransit provides transportation access to individuals with disabilities in need of specialized services.
• Shared: Our algorithm pairs passengers traveling in the same direction, combining the convenience of a private ride with the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of public transportation.
